How Mudjacking Works

It's simple as 1, 2, 3

Step 1
A pattern of 1-1/2 inch holes are drilled through the sunken slab.

Step 2
The crushed stone and portland cement mixture is pumped under the slab with our specialized equipment. Once any void is filled, the grout becomes pressurized, hydraulically raising the slab to the desired height.

Step 3
The holes are patched using a concrete mixture.

Mudjacking is quick and easy. Since slabs are not being removed, there is very little mess or inconvenience. Surrounding grass is not dug up, so there is no reseeding and waiting for new grass to grow. Because the old slabs are still there, the color of the concrete remains constant. The slab can be put back into service as soon as they are raised. You don't have to wait for the mud/portland cement mixure to cure.
